On January 16, 2010, a benefit was held at the Evil Olive in Dickinson ND for Chris Tibor. Chris is our cousin (and dear friend) who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. In addition to some excellent live music and a successful silent auction, BassAckward Studios also got involved by doing a live paint session, with the final artwork auctioned off at midnight and all proceeds donated to Chris and his family.

This project involved having the aluminum horse sandblasted down to bare metal, all kinds of patch work done to the pits and blemishes, primer coat, and base coats applied before we were able to do any work on it.
Special thanks to Jerome Zimmerman at KraZKustoms for all his efforts on this piece.
